About Us
Our Church History
In 1977 a Bible club was started in Whistler in the local elementary school, and in 1979 a small group of people began meeting for Sunday services in the Skier's Chapel at Whistler's Creekside. In 1980 this group formally associated with the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches, an evangelical denomination with presently about 100 churches across the province. Our church outgrew the Skiers' Chapel and since April 1993 has been meeting in the Myrtle Philip Community Centre. In January 2003 we received title to a 1.74 acre piece of property at 7226 Fitzsimmons Road North, and we hope to build a church facility on this property someday.
